Vasco da Gama Tower Observation Deck - 145 meters high, 360° view

The Vasco da Gama Tower viewpoint is open again decades after its official inauguration at Expo98. Go up to Portugal’s tallest building, overlooking the Tagus River, which pays homage to Vasco da Gama’s discovery of the sea route to India. This is a must-see for those looking for things to see in Lisbon, a 360º experience of Parque das Nações. The tour begins with the discovery of each QR code on the dome’s windows, which contain stories, curiosities about Portugal, tourist recommendations and tips on the panoramic view.

The View from the Vasco da Gama Tower

The experience begins in the panoramic elevator, which ascends 145 meters in just a few seconds. At the top, the wraparound windows frame the city from an angle found at no other viewpoint in Lisbon. At each window, a QR code identifies what you’re seeing and guides your visit.
